भारतीय टेस्ट टीम के उप कप्तान रोहित शर्मा (Rohit Sharma) ब्रिसबेन टेस्ट के चौथे दिन ऑस्ट्रेलिया के पूर्व कप्तान स्टीव स्मिथ (Steve Smith) की शैडो बैटिंग करते हुए नजर आए। हिटमैन रोहित ड्रिंक्‍स ब्रेक के दौरान पिच पर पहुंचे और स्मिथ के बैटिंग फुटमार्क पर खड़े होकर उनके बल्‍लेबाजी के तरीके को समझने लगे।

इस वाकये को देख फैंस को लगा कि रोहित पूर्व कंगारू कप्तान स्मिथ का मजाक उड़ा रहे हैं। इसको लेकर भारतीय टीम के पूर्व क्रिकेटर और वर्तमान में कमेंटेटर की भूमिका निभा रहे संजय मांजरेकर (Sanjay Manjrekar) ने भी अपनी प्रतिक्रिया जाहिर की। मांजरेकर ने रोहित को शैडो बैटिंग को देख कहा, 'अगर स्मिथ सिडनी में गलत थे तो फिर ये भी गलत है।'
